Jack Dies graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 with a B.A. in American Civilization and Economics. He started his corporate career in the Executive Training Program for Cigna Group in New York City. In 1990, he moved to Sun Valley and began working as a producer for Wood River Insurance. By 1998, Jack started Sun Valley Insurance Inc., which is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Idaho. In 2001, he successfully completed his Insurance Counselor Designation. Jack is one of the youngest tenured agents in the valley and is on the Hallmark Financial Elite Agents Council.
Jack is active in many boards and non-profits in Idaho and the Wood River Valley. Currently he is serving as the president of the Idaho Golf Association, recently elected to the University of Pennsylvania Executive Board as well as a 2-time board member and first president of the Valley Club in Hailey Idaho. He has also served on the Sawtooth United Soccer Program board for many years.
Jack has been a resident of the community for 22 years; he loves and understands the lifestyle of the Wood River Valley. Jack and wife Jennifer have two wonderful kids that both attend the Community School.
Dan is a graduate of Oregon State University. After graduation, he spent several months working with One World Challenge (an America's Cup Syndicate for the Seattle Yacht Club) in Auckland, New Zealand. In 2002, Dan found his place in the Wood River Valley.
Dan's professional background began in real estate, selling residential properties here in the WRV as well as commercial properties in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Since joining Sun Valley Insurance in 2008, Dan has focused on residential and commercial resort properties across the Western U.S. as well as homeowner's associations and small business in our community. He prides himself on developing lasting relationships with all of his clients and providing the best customer service possible.
Currently, he is Chairman of the Wood River Ducks Unlimited.
Marlene is a graduate from American Intercontinental University with a degree in Business Management. In 1998 she moved to the valley as a teenager and began her career in the insurance industry as a receptionist working for a small local agency. In 2005 she joined the Sun Valley Insurance team where her insurance knowledge increased while helping manage the agency. She became a licensed insurance agent in 2007. In 2009 she moved to Seattle, WA with hopes of self improvement and career advancement. In her search she joined the corporate world by becoming part of the Propel Insurance agency; there she managed a unique Vacation Rental Insurance program for nationwide clients for 3 years. Missing the valley’s beauty and the place she calls home she returned to Sun Valley Insurance and is now the office manager helping clients and co workers with all account activity including new business in both Personal and Commercial lines.
Toni moved to the Wood River Valley in 1981 as a young child and that’s where she stayed to build her home. In 1995 she married her husband, Mitch Marcroft, who was born & raised in the Wood River Valley. They have two amazing young men, KC and Kolten.
In 1996, Toni decided to start her career in the insurance industry. She worked several years as an office manager and an account manager with two different agencies until she found her home here at Sun Valley Insurance. Toni joined Sun Valley insurance in 2014 and has a great pride in helping her clients with their insurance needs and being the best customer service agent as possible.
In 1981 Marina moved to the Wood River Valley as a young child, where she spent her childhood growing up. After she graduated High School from Wood River High, she moved to Boise and attended college at Boise State University pursuing a degree in Art Education and then transferring to the College of Western Idaho where she graduated with a degree in Business Administration. She moved back the Wood River Valley in 2014 to raise her two girls, with her husband in the beautiful Wood River Valley. Her one true home. Marina started her career in insurance in 2014 with Sun Valley Insurance as a receptionist, moving on to becoming a licensed CSA, working in both commercial and personal lines insurance. Outside of work Marina enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, painting and taking scenic photographs. She prides herself in great customer service and strives to be the best customer service agent she can be.
